stumpys update

I have never been one to tell a person, or persons, what to do.(unless I was signing their paycheck then hell to the yeah!!)...I have never been one to use my rather captivating charm to strongly influence a person, or persons to do what I might suggest(unless it was single lady whose charms were more that any man could resist or she was breathing and available..and then..hell to the yeah!!)...and I was never one to pout, hold my breath, or throw a fit to get someone to do my bidding(that is unless there was pie involved..then hell to the yeah!!) BUT.....I am considering using all and any of my powers to get all those within the sound of my voice or within the sight of these words...to make their way to Stumpy's this Saturday Night...Jason Elmore and Hoo Doo Witch are in the house. Do you realize just how good this dude is?? Have I ever steered you wrong...intentionally..lately...or that you can prove?? Here's the deal....if you come and you do not think Jason is every thing I say he is and more..I will look you right in the eye and admit I was wrong...and that is something three different Mrs Woodruffs were never able to do..and I was sleeping with them..almost exclusively. Jason Elmore...along with Oliver White(@Stumpys Friday March 26th) are two young men from North Texas that are going to be the salvation of The Blues... Come See Jason...Save The Blues!!!... NO COVER CHARGE SATURDAY NIGHT MARCH 13TH !!!!!!!

Friday night.....a brand new band with a different sound....Ball and Chain...ask Kaysi....but they have a terrific myspace page. I think they play some Metal...classic rock...what all else I just do not know...but I say....let's play two?? Come Friday just because you like Anna..and Kaysi...and Rachel...and Tina...and Scott...not for me....noooooo not for me...(pleeeeease for me) No Cover Charge psssst there is a hot chick in the band....

Two good gigs this past weekend...and lots of really nice single ladies...my bulls&^t meter was running on empty by the time I left town Sunday....but I must say....amen and amen!! And the music was good too!! Howard Starling and his Groove Yard Band Friday churned up some strong blues...Saturday night our trusty stand by The Room Shakers ...well they are just one of the best...man that lead guitar is strong!! Great Weekend Gigs!! Ladies...you are welcome back any time...(pleeeeeease)

I am issuing a special Stumpy's thank you to Caroline Collier. Pick up last weeks Fort Worth Weekly Stumpians...Ms Collier mentions your favorite bar a couple of times in print...how bout that sports fans!!...

Rick South gave me that bad news about Lindsey Vonn..our American Gold medal Winner in Down Hill Skiing...yep...they took her medal away and gave it to President ObamaYoMama..seems he has been going down hill much faster then she ever thought about....hey...talk to Rick..
