If anyone on this planet..other than my mom...wants to know what makes me tick....well the "Last Saturday Night @Stumpy's Experience" that does it... that makes Paul Woodruff tick...well that and a few other things that mostly revolve around girls. But....we had a full house Saturday...we had lots of happy new faces...and some happy familiar faces....some incredibly beautiful women....great service from the ladies behind the bar...and...one helluva hot band...THE ZEW....oh did I mention a really busy cash register?? Yeah baby ..last Saturday night Lower Division belonged to Stumpy's...shoot Tarrant county belonged to us.

Don't get me wrong...to have a great Saturday you have to have a great Friday night just to get the ball rolling. Read my lips..Jason Elmore and HooDoo Witch is just about one of the best blues bands I have heard...Jason did a solo acoustic set that was beyond incredible. Top that off with he is just about the nicest dude to work with I have found in a long while....Jason will be back in March as will the other half of our Dennison connection Oliver White...
Mark my words Stumpians....no one in Tarrant or Dallas Counties had the line up of great live music that we had this past weekend.....Keep that marker handy....Mark this...NO ONE HAS ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT WE HAVE THIS WEEKEND!!!!! WE HAVE THE BEST VENUE IN TOWN STUMPIANS!! PASS THAT WORD AROUND TOWN!!!
OK Friday night....the Bop Bop Bop best original sound in North Texas. Velvet Love Box. It is not hard at all to find superlatives to throw around this threesome...the one that comes to mind right off the top is..Worthy.
These guys are worthy of any thing good you can find to say. I for one just can't wait to hear them...there is a cover...get there before nine to avoid it. Rumor has it an East Side celebrity may be in the house... Remember Sandy from Grease?? Well it's not her..but dang close.

The Nosmo Kings have been Stumpians ever since. Todd, Stubby, and Phillip ... Three Musicians...Three Stumpians....Three plus one days away from blowing your socks off with the best Electric Blues you will hear this year...that is until they are back.

It was announced today that President Obama yo Mama...wants to put a freeze on government spending... I will wait until the laughter dies down... Say what???? He wants to put a freeze on Government spending... again I say ..Say what?? Now that has to be because... One..He has spent it all...Two ... he is waiting on his April 15th paycheck...or Three..He should have never doubled down on that Massachusetts bet...
